It's that time of year when the big clubs fight for the title, but right now we will look at the other part of the table. It's the relegation battle, so let's look at our candidates.
In last place on 19 points, we have Wigan who are used to fighting for safety, and last season avoided relegation in their final game of the season. Will Roberto Martinez's experience in these situations be enough for Wigan to avoid the drop?
On 20 points, we have Bolton who started the season sizzling, but soon faded out. They lost their best defender Gary Cahill to Chelsea in January, and last season at this time, Bolton were in 7th place enjoying a pretty successful season in the Premier League.
The final team that's in a relegation spot at the moment is Wolves, who are on 21 points. Wolves fired their manager, who led them to safety last season and are in the same position as they were last season, but no manager with the team coming off a 5-0 loss to West Brom. Their next two matches are away against top four contender Newcastle United and Fulham who are in 12th place.
Steve Kean's Blackburn, who are also on 21 points, are led by star striker Yakubu and captain Samba, who refuses to play because he wasn't sold in January. Blackburn, last season at this time, were in 14th place, but with only four points away from the drop zone.
Let's look at 16th placed QPR, who are equal on points with both Wolves and Blackburn with 21 points. At this time last season, they were enjoying a great season in the Championship which would lead to their automatic promotion. Out of the three promoted teams, QPR, is struggling to cope and are playing extremely poor at home, winning only twice at Loftus Road so far this season.

Now I will give you my picks on who will be relegated- Wolves, Blackburn, and QPR. I think Wolves will go down because they don't have a manager and morale is low at the moment, and the replacements linked and available, are not great either.
Blackburn, what more do I need to say, with Samba not playing, fans are against the manager, and lastly their form of late is poor and will face 5 teams in top half of the table including Manchester United, Liverpool, Norwich, Tottenham, and on "Survival Sunday" they'll play away to Chelsea, all in the next couple of months.
Lastly QPR, they bought big in January, but I don't think they can overcome their poor home form this season, and still have to face the top 3 teams, and on Survival Sunday, they'll play away to league leaders Manchester City. QPR have seven more home matches against teams which include Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Everton.

Kean and Samba... can they solve their differences?
