Gotze's Agent Confirms Contact With Manchester United

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze’s agent, has confirmed that Manchester United are among the host of clubs interested in acquiring the services of his client, and that the club have valued the German international in the region of 40 million euros.

Gotze has been a target for all the top clubs of Europe, and was linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League this past January transfer window, but nothing materialized then. The player was also heavily linked with Arsenal, where manager Arsene Wenger was said to be an admirer of the talented German international. But an unfortunate injury for the 19-year old halted any possible move.


His agent, Dirk Hebel, confirmed, “I think in Europe all the top clubs are interested in Mario.


“I can confirm that I have had contact with Juventus and Manchester United, but not only them.


“I don’t know if he’ll go away after this season, you should ask Borussia. But I think that they will not let him leave for less than 40million euros.


“He still is very happy at Dortmund, though now he is injured.”
